Today, I believe in God
For the longest time in my life, I am an atheist. There is a huge distance as wide as Hudson River between me and the almighty God.
In the world I live in, rich gets richer, worker works harder, poor gets poorer, lazy dude gets happier, all these by sitting there just doing nothing, simply by buying house, flipping, buying, rolling, buying, selling, borrowing and selling. Rich dad, Poor dad says, damn you if you do not have an income just keep rolling by itself. Damn you fool, when did you see the housing market collapse? Damn you such idiot not buying properties because the rents you pay just help another rich dude sits there and grows richer. Damn you not buying now because everyone is bidding for higher price, it is skyrocketing. For the last few years, I live a plain life, nothing exuberance, nothing exotic, nothing astounding, pure plain, as plain as vanilla.
For the longest time of my life, I thought hell has disappeared. There is heaven everywhere, there is luxurious home every corner I go, the dude I knew from college, his closet is bigger than my living room and bedroom combined. Where is hell, what happened to evil?
Today, I believe in God. God defines gravity, what goes up must come down, there is still logic living in this world. God defines certainty, the only certainty is there is no certainty. God defines sin, ignorance is a sin, and sinners must go to hell, according to my bible friend. The gate to hell has just opened. Fire erupts from the gate, I say, let it burn! Burn away the ignorance, burn away the arrogance, burn away the greed, burn away the artificial money worth billions! Burn! Damn you fools! Is there another credit contract still rated Triple A? Is there another luxury home still worth millions? God says if your head is not big enough, don't wear a hat that is 6 times the head size! That's right, in merely 6 years, credit derivatives skyrocketed from 36 trillion to 70 trillion before anyone notice he is as ignorant as an early worm popping its head waiting to be eaten.
Who is laughing now? I think the God is. The almighty God, he must be laughing.
